I know several ‘childless cat guys and gals’ and I love every one of them - they certainly aren’t sociopaths and certainly aren’t trying to change the world or the US with their decisions.
I have to admit to a sickening abhorrence of anyone who could généralise about the reasons for anyone not having children… this is such a personal decision made usually with much reflection and forethought. I guess Vance is scared of the courage these people show in doing so when he is lacking…? Whatever his reasons, the comment was and will remain hurtful to those whose decisions are made, especially those who’ve had no choice!
