What about going to a different university, say one of the free universities in the Scandinavian countries? Boycotting the universities themselves would give a strong message.

Going to Scandinavian universities is a great idea for those who can do it. Also, if there are other people/places that support the effort and who would sponsor students, they could study at unis abroad (assuming those unis have divested).

And, as Harvey Milk said, you can move to San Francisco, or you can stay in your hometown and fight. Boycotting the universities might put pressure on them. Could they afford to expel everyone?

The workers came to help the students in France in 1968. Will they this time?

Good point about whether or not Scandinavian universities have divested, Louise. That's great that the protests have started in Japan as well.
