Those in power also try to separate us - give extreme viewpoints and try to make people believe in them. It’s hard to realize that people who look and sound different are not that different. Especially now, I think we need the courage to look past the superficial differences.
Kaori! Thank you for your comments. How I do agree with you! After all my world travels, I came to the conclusion that people are basically the same. We all want peace, a good job, a safe place to live, and people who love us. All the rest just add spice and color and beauty to our lives. There is no need for division, but there is a need for community. xxx

Ah, Susie, but there are always smart leaders in the wings, and in the right moment in history, they find their place. Not saviors, but people with the right skills at the right moment.
