Very powerful lyrics at a time when there's so much apathy. A majority of our politicians exhibit anemic responses to this existential threat. They are in my experience unresponsive to even listening to sound reason unless they see something in it for them - think short-sighted manifestations of greed.
I agree. As long as the system rewards them, leaders and corporations will continue with the status quo. As long as the people receive benefits (products and convenience, spurred on by the media), apathy might continue. It’s up to us (and I believe the numbers are growing) to make changes in our daily lives and to educate others.
