As a thank you to my readers, I have a small gift.
If you have been following me on Substack Notes, you might have seen the photos of my cat, Carrot, that I posted throughout this year. I've written a photo adventure book filled with those photos, and I'd like to share it with you this 🎍holiday 🕯️season🎄. The story of how Carrot came into our lives - and left us too soon - is included. The story is in English and Japanese.
If you'd like to play along on your own iPad (iBooks app or any epub reader), you can download the epub file for “Find Carrot” here: louisehaynes.com/cats/c…
At the bottom of that page you will find the link to the epub. Be aware that it is photo-heavy, so it will take a while (several minutes or longer) to download. Once you have it on your iPad, you can enlarge the photos to be able to better search for Carrot.
Thank you for your support this year.
Enjoy!
(iPad not included.)
Wishing my Substack family a very happy holiday season, no matter what or if you celebrate. May 2025 be a year of good health and peace for all of us and the planet.
Kind regards,
Louise
Thank you for this touching gift dear Louise, the file is downloading as I type ready for my return from a walk - while the sun shines! xx
Thank you for the video of your cat family. No wonder Carrot sat at your door looking in. A cat knows a good place. Wishing you a joyful Christmas with many antics in the Christmas paper.
